Coventry and Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group Brand Identity

Two NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) were to merge to form a single CCG that would be led by a management team and governing body, responsible for the planning and commissioning of health care services across the area.
The merger would offer stronger, more consistent and quicker decision making and help reduce duplication in services and costs.
As a long standing supplier to the NHS, we were approached by their marketing team to create an identity for the new health care service body - Coventry and Warwickshire CCG - in time for its launch in April 2021.
The project required us to develop an identity which represented the four geographic areas the new CCG would cover, coming together to form a more effective single health care service.
As part of the project we created an official NHS logo and accompanying icon, along with a colour palette and supporting graphic elements that would form the overall brand.
A new website was developed and we created a series of illustrations for use on the website and beyond, representing the different areas of service the CCG covered.
We developed a set of brand guidelines and templates for presentations and publications to allow the brand to be rolled out across the CCG by all departments, ensuring that the identity could be followed and upheld.
For the internal launch, staff were invited to attend a virtual event and introduction to the new brand. As part of this, we created a welcome pack consisting of a series of branded stationery items to familiarise staff with the new identity, and a branded refresher snack pack so they could sit back and enjoy a hot beverage and a biscuit during the virtual launch.
As the brand unfolds we look forward to working with them on development of more materials as part of the new identity.
Matt and the team really supported us throughout the development of our new organisation, coming up with a brand style that was innovative and fresh, yet still recognisably NHS, and then rolling it out across the new organisation. I would be more than happy to recommend them for all aspects of branding and design work.
